REVIEW
REVIEW of Hollywood Actor Jobs Infomercial by Phillip Eugene Walker
Philip E. Walker is one of those guys that make you smile. A little eccentric but thoughtful and flamboyant. He's that person that lights up a room and the one that people tend to gravitate toward. He's an actor that loves doing what he does. Is his name plastered on marquees across America? No... but if you sit long enough and comb the credits, you will probably see his name in thousands of films.
Walker has mastered the art of Hollywood background talent and his short film, Hollywood Actor Jobs Infomercial tells you how you can work in films as often as you like, if that’s what you want. "There's enough work in this town for everybody... you just have to know how to apply!" He also says, "I ain't lying... I'm just rehearsing a better truth!"
When watching the film, you're not going to be dazzled by industry standard lighting or sound. There were no gimbals or steady camera systems. What you get is a meat and potatoes common sense approach to how to work the Hollywood casting system. He coaches you on how to best represent and present yourself through the various online casting sites.
Walker refers to himself as a reluctant filmmaker who's been both in front of and behind the camera, but for various reasons, was never satisfied with the outcome. Where he found success is in securing steady work on Hollywood productions. He made this video in a workshop setting to share his insights with those who may be struggling on their own.
The video shows Donovan Poole and Veronica Sunseri arriving to Walker’s home studio where the three discuss their personal experiences attempting to navigate the casting circuit. Walker listens to their stories and shares some of his own experiences and then provides practical advice. It’s his own personal recipe for success.
Hollywood Actor Jobs Infomercial is a great tool for those looking for practical advice. These are my thoughts and... "I ain't lying... I'm just rehearsing a better truth!"
